Paul Eldridge
"Born in Flagstaff, AZ, HavenPaul grew up in Mesa, moved to Lake Tahoe and finally,
on a whim, moved to Wisconsin. Being an Artist his whole life Paul went to school
for computer programming. Realizing quickly that time in a cubicle was not life, Paul
went on to become a cosmetologist. After styling the Fox Valley and owning two salons
over 25 years, he became an artist and world traveler full-time.
Instinctively peripatetic, Paul is inspired by nature, and can often get lost in
photo jaunts photographing wildlife, landscapes, plants, and insects.
While Paul has always been a photographer and graphite
artist, it is relatively recently that the worlds of colored pencils and watercolors
have given him new freedom of expression.
Paul is a full-time traveler, roving extensively throughout North & Central America
and the Caribbean, and loves traversing the ocean via cruise liners.
There’s little photo fodder for a flora and fauna photographer afloat,
but an artist with the tools of his trade can create anywhere!
You’ll notice that many of his subjects are not local and are inspirations from his
travels here and abroad. He hopes to inspire others to travel,
explore their world, and discover the many gems this all too short life has to offer."
